Marvin Mims Jr. Suffers Injury, Will Practice Soon
1 year agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. reportedly suffered an undisclosed injury recently, but head coach Sean Payton said he will be full-go in a few days or a week. Mims was the first draft selection of the Payton era in Denver and adds an element of high-end speed to the Russell Wilson-led offense. The 21-year-old wideout averaged 20 yards per reception in each of his final two seasons at Oklahoma and could carve out a legitimate WR3 role as a rookie. He'll likely compete with Tim Patrick to play alongside Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton when he gets healthy and back on the field for training camp.
