1 year agoNew England Patriots veteran Ty Montgomery was listed as a running back/wide receiver hybrid on the team's official roster in the spring, but he is listed as just a wideout during training camp. This could mean any speculation of him being used as a third-down back could be put to rest. If so, Rhamondre Stevenson should retain plenty of his receiving work from 2022. However, Pierre Strong Jr. was a strong pass-catcher in college, so he could see a role in passing situations, too.
