1 year agoThe San Diego Padres officially released infielder Rougned Odor on Monday after designating him for assignment last week. Now on the free-agent market, Odor will be able to sign with any team after hitting just .210/.306/.370 with four home runs, 10 doubles, 18 RBI, two steals and 21 runs scored in 157 trips to the plate and 59 games for the Friars this year. The 29-year-old left-handed hitter could latch on with another team on a minor-league deal, but there's no guarantee that he'll make it back to the big leagues again this year. If he does, it will most likely be as a part-time infielder in matchups against right-handed pitchers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
