Minnesota Has "Sky-High" Price On Karl-Anthony Towns
1 year agoAccording to Fred Katz of The Athletic, the Timberwolves have "set a sky-high price" on center Karl-Anthony Towns. There were rumors the Knicks were interested in obtaining the 27-year-old. However, Katz denied it, citing league sources, reporting New York isn't looking to trade for him. Towns played a career-low 29 games last season due to a lingering calf injury. He also averaged 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.8 assists, all down from the 2021-22 campaign. But the former Kentucky Wildcat may bounce back this season, and assuming he stays healthy, he could easily finish as a top-25 fantasy option. That said, it appears the Timberwolves would entertain a deal for Towns, although it will take a lot to get him out of Minnesota.
