Jahlil Okafor Heading To Spain
1 year agoFree-agent center Jahlil Okafor has decided to sign a one-year deal and head overseas to Spain. The Philadelphia 76ers selected Okafor with the third overall pick during the 2015 NBA Draft. He spent parts of three seasons with the Sixers before being traded to the Brooklyn Nets in 2017. Okafor lasted a season there before bouncing to both the New Orleans Pelicans and Detroit Pistons over the next few years. This past year, Okafor spent his time in the G-League where he averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 16 games. He'll get a chance to prove himself in Spain and then possibly return to the NBA at some point.
