1 year agoAccording to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Giants aren't willing to restart talks with running back Saquon Barkley on a new deal. New York has made several offers previously. However, the former Nittany Lion declined all of them before hiring an additional agency to help with the negotiation process. Both sides have until Monday to agree to a contract, or Barkley could be playing on a franchise tag in 2023-24. But the situation might take a turn for the worse if the team doesn't make the 26-year-old happy, including a chance he won't show up for training camp, something he's threatened throughout the offseason.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
