1 year agoAtlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy will get a day off on Tuesday as the team takes on the Cleveland Guardians. Travis d'Arnaud will catch starting pitcher Kolby Allard and hit fifth in the batting order against Guardians right-hander Shane Bieber. It's likely a routine day of rest for Murphy, who has been one of the most valuable catchers in fantasy in his first year in Atlanta. He's on a modest five-game hitting streak with two home runs, two doubles, six RBI and four runs scored in his last 22 plate appearances since June 25. Overall, the 28-year-old backstop is hitting an impressive .294 (65-for-221) with 14 long balls, 48 RBI and 37 runs scored in 63 games (257 plate appearances). Bieber will be a tough matchup for d'Arnaud, who has eight hits (three homers) in his last 19 at-bats over five games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
