Lester Quinones Has 26-Point Outing In Summer League
1 year agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard Lester Quinones had an impressive outing in the Summer League on Monday, scoring a team-high 26 points in a 100-94 loss to Sacramento. The former Memphis Tiger shot 10-for-16 from the field and hit 5-for-8 from deep in 27 minutes of action. Quinones had trouble staying away from fouls and had seven of them in total, but the 22-year-old played a very efficient game overall and wrapped up his line with four rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Last season, Quinones played only four games for the Warriors, but he averaged close to 22 points per game in the G League and was named the league's Most Improved Player. He'll hope to make more noise in the NBA in 2023-24.
