Kyle Larson's Roller-Coaster Rides Ends In Fifth-Place Finish
1 year agoKyle Larson started in seventh place, and some believed he could make headway and get to the front at Nashville. However, that proved to be far more difficult than expected. Larson and his No. 5 car never led a lap on Sunday night. Ultimately, the Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver ended up sandwiched between teammates William Byron and Chase Elliott. Larson, despite his early season bad luck, is still comfortably into "The Chase." Next up is Chicago and the debut of a road course that might suit Larson well.
