Daniel Suarez To Race Backup Car At Nashville; Will Start In Rear
1 year agoThe official starting lineup for the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway shows Daniel Suarez in 10th, but that's not where he will actually start in Sunday's race. During the final round of qualifying on Saturday, Suarez spun his #99 Chevrolet around and clipped the wall, sustaining enough damage that the team decided to pull out the backup car to race. Before Sunday's race starts, Suarez will have to drop to the back of the field because of the car change. It's worth noting, though, that in DFS games, Suarez will still be credited with and scored from the 10th-place starting spot despite the change.
