1 year agoThe San Diego Padres reinstated right-hander Seth Lugo (calf) from the 15-day injured list on Tuesday and designated right-hander Nabil Crismatt for assignment in a corresponding move. Lugo will make his return and make the start on the road on Tuesday against the San Francisco Giants. He will not be a recommended fantasy streamer against the streaking Giants, mainly because he hasn't pitched in the big leagues since May 16 and didn't go on a minor-league rehab assignment. Expect Lugo's pitch count to be limited in his first game back. In his eight starts for the Friars before going on the injured list, Lugo had gone 3-3 with a 4.10 ERA (3.95 FIP), 1.37 WHIP, 11 walks and 38 strikeouts in 41 2/3 innings pitched.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
