Jaylen Warren Looks Impressive This Offseason
1 year agoThe Athletic's Mark Kaboly writes that Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren is a beast and appears to be bigger this offseason, although he says he's not. Warren has been impressive during offseason workouts with the way he attacks the hole during drills at practice. Kaboly doesn't think there is any way offensive coordinator Matt Canada can keep Warren off the field as much as he did last year behind Najee Harris. The 24-year-old saw only 77 carries for 379 yards and a touchdown while adding 28 receptions for 214 yards in 16 games (zero starts) in his rookie year in 2022. Warren probably isn't going to be an option for starting fantasy lineups in 2023, but he's the handcuff to Harris and have some appeal in deep PPR leagues if he sees more work out of the backfield.
