Gio Urshela Exits Early With Hip Injury
1 year agoLos Angeles Angels corner infielder Gio Urshela (hip) was removed from Thursday's game against the Texas Rangers in the first inning after falling down while running out a double-play ball. Urshela said after the game that he couldn't walk and both his hips and knee hurt. Urshela will likely miss some time, especially since he was just returning from back tightness that caused him to miss multiple games. The 31-year-old is batting .300, but isn't providing much else with just two homers and a .703 OPS. He doesn't need to be rostered in most leagues.
