Amed Rosario Exits With Knee Soreness
1 year agoCleveland Guardians shortstop/outfielder Amed Rosario (knee) exited Saturday's game early against the Minnesota Twins with left knee soreness. He went 0-for-2 before leaving. Tyler Freeman replaced the 27-year-old in the fourth inning. The severity of Rosario's knee issue is unknown, and he's considered day-to-day. Cleveland will provide an update on Rosario after the game. He has struggled this season, slashing .220/.270/.314 with one homer, 13 RBI, 24 runs, and eight stolen bases across 52 games. Freeman would see an uptick in at-bats if Rosario were to miss additional games.
