Lakers Look To Move D’Angelo Russell In Sign-And-Trade Deal
2 years agoJovan Buha of the Athletic has reported that the Los Angeles Lakers would like to move point guard D'Angelo Russell in a sign-and-trade deal. "My read on the situation is that the Lakers would prefer to use D'Angelo Russell in a sign-and-trade, but I'm not sure the market is there," writes Buha. Muha mentions Toronto's Fred VanVleet as a possible target in the deal. Russell looked set to play a big role for the team for the foreseeable future when the Lakers brought him back from Minnesota in February, but the 27-year-old contributed very little in the Western Conference Finals against Denver and it's put Russell's future in L.A. in doubt.
