2 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado (hand) was recently placed on the 15-day injured list. On Tuesday, Machado was able to progress to taking swings off a tee. The 30-year-old is currently recovering from a small fracture in his left hand. It doesn't sound like Machado is going to require a rehab assignment before returning to the Padres roster. He's eligible to return to the active roster as early as Friday. Fantasy managers will have to wait and see if Machado is able to get back on the field that quickly.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
