Minnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco (hamstring) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. He was pulled from Wednesday's contest due to a mild left hamstring strain. The team is calling the injury a day-to-day issue, so Polanco hasn't been placed on the injured list. Hopefully, Polanco can get back in the lineup at some point this weekend. Until then, Willi Castro will cover second base and bat seventh versus left-hander Reid Detmers on Friday.--Andy Webb
