Jasson Dominguez Heating Up In Double-A
2 years agoAfter a slow start to the season, Yankees outfield prospect Jasson Dominguez has heated up. In a game for Double-A Somerset, the top prospect hit his fourth home run in the past ten games. He struggled mightily in April, with a .140 batting average. Despite his early struggles, Dominguez has maintained a 20.7% walk rate and stolen 13 bases through 31 games. The Yankees want the 20-year-old to marinate in the minors for a year or two more before he gets the call-up, but his speed, power, and command of the strike zone make him a must-roster in dynasty leagues.
