Warriors And Bob Myers "Bracing" For A Breakup

The Golden State Warriors reportedly have had no "substantial" contract-extension talks with their president of basketball operations Bob Myers. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, both sides are "bracing" for a breakup this offseason. Myers was an integral architect of the championship teams, as he was the one who drafted Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green, and Kevon Looney, among others. He also signed Kevin Durant, traded for Andre Iguodala and Andrew Wiggins, and hired head coach Steve Kerr. If Myers doesn't return, the Warriors' future could be in flux.
