Warriors Plan To Discuss New Deal With Draymond Green
2 years agoAccording to Shams Charania and Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors plan to discuss a "multi-year" contract with forward/center Draymond Green. With the new CBA on the horizon, Golden State is in a financial crunch, so keeping its core together will prove difficult. However, the Dubs still plan negotiating a new deal with Green, who averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in 73 games this season. The 33-year-old has a player option, so how things will play out this offseason is unknown. But should Green decide to test the market, he'll draw interest from more than a handful of teams.
