2 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers are extremely happy with all three of their quarterbacks -- Brock Purdy (elbow, Trey Lance and Sam Darnold -- heading into the 2023 season. "I do believe we have three quarterbacks talent-wise who are all capable of being franchise-like quarterbacks. But that's just capable. Brock's done that in his eight. And we have two other guys on our roster who we strongly believe can do that also." Purdy is expected to be ready for training camp this summer after having surgery on the UCL in his right elbow this offseason, and if fully healthy, he's expected to start under center in Week 1. Given San Fran's love for Darnold, there's a chance they trade Lance this summer to another QB-needy team. Lance's dynasty/keeper stock has fallen precipitously in the last year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
