Denzel Mims "The Odd Man Out?"
2 years agoAccording to ESPN's Rich Cimini, New York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims could be the "odd man out" when the team shrinks the roster to 53. Gang Green added Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman Jr., and Randall Cobb in free agency. The club is also keeping Corey Davis on the roster. As a result, there may not be room for Mims. The 25-year-old was drafted by the Jets in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In his three seasons, he's compiled only 42 catches for 676 yards while being held without a touchdown. Mims has expressed his displeasure with his role in the past, so a change of scenery may do him some good.
