Masataka Yoshida Continues Crushing
2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Masataka Yoshida continued his scorching hot streak on Thursday, going 3-for-5 with a homer, three runs, and three RBI in their 11-5 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. He extended his hitting streak to 14 games in this one, and sees his slash line bump to .317/.400/.548. He's mashed six homers, has 21 runs scored and 24 RBI, and has chipped in two steals. He's been a huge reason for Boston's resurgence over the past few weeks, adding a stabilizing force at the top of their order. The lefty should be in contention for rookie of the year if he keeps up the pace.
