2 years agoAtlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud (concussion), who has had four concussions, remains on the injured list while recovering from his latest head injury on April 8 during a collision at the plate. d'Arnaud has dealt with serious headaches, and the Braves aren't pushing him to get back sooner than recommended. He's getting closer to a return, but there have still been some difficult days. The good news is catcher Sean Murphy hit two home runs and had a career-high six RBI in Game 1 of a doubleheader against the Mets on Monday, and he's caught 16 of 20 games since d'Arnaud's injury. The 34-year-old d'Arnaud could be back in a week or two, although there remains no timetable for his return. Once he's back, he figures to split catching duties with Murphy in Atlanta.
