Jayson Tatum Fires In 39 Points In Game 1 Against Philadelphia
2 years agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum opened the Eastern Conference semifinal matchup against Philadelphia with a team-high 39 points. The 25-year-old scoring machine got off to a hot start with a 26-point first half and finished with 14-for-25 shooting from the field. He was 4-for-5 from behind the arc and 7-for-8 at the foul line. Tatum also collected his fifth double-double of this postseason with 11 rebounds and capped off his line with five assists, one steal and one block. This was a superb performance from Tatum, but unfortunately for him and the Celtics, there was one guy even better on the court as James Harden led Philly to victory. We should see a big reaction to the loss from Boston in Game 2.
