Nathan MacKinnon Records His 100th Postseason Point
2 years agoColorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon reached 100 career postseason points in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Seattle. He recorded a power-play assist when one of MacKinnon's shots deflected off Mikko Rantanen into the net. Nine of MacKinnon's efforts did end up going on goal as he desperately tried to keep his team alive, but it simply wasn't meant to be. The Avalanche superstar reached 100 playoff points with just 77 games, requiring the sixth-fewest postseason games in NHL history to reach the mark. Only three players have done it with less than 70 games.
