2 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher German Marquez (triceps) could require season-ending surgery. The right-hander told reporters on Friday that he might need to get Tommy John surgery. Marquez exited during Wednesday's start after experiencing pain in his triceps. Normally, players are optimistic in these situations, so to hear Marquez say he might need season-ending surgery isn't a good sign. He's set to undergo another MRI exam and receive a second opinion on Monday. Fantasy managers will likely have to wait until then before they get a better idea on his injury.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
