Patrick Rodgers Worth Consideration In Mexico
2 years agoPatrick Rodgers appears to be back on track after missing six of eight cuts from January through March, with his back-to-back top-20 finishes in Texas and South Carolina. Now, Rodgers will return to Mexico, looking to build off his top-10 finish at the event last season. However, Rodgers will come in with a much higher DFS price than he usually has. Rodgers shouldn't have an issue with the length of the course and sits inside the top-30 on tour in scoring average, birdie average, and strokes gained total, so scoring shouldn't be an issue either. The stats say Rodgers should be worth a look, but at his high DFS price, his inconsistency makes this a tough call. The track record for Rodgers over the past few seasons shows when he gets hot, it usually lasts three to five weeks, which would be right in his current window. Rodgers is worth a look this week.
