C.J. Stroud Could Fall To Lions At No. 6
2 years agoThe Detroit Lions could surprisingly be in the quarterback market in this year's draft, and it's unlikely that Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud would fall past the Lions at No. 6 overall if he falls out of the top-five picks on Thursday night. Stroud is a younger and cheaper version of Jared Goff with better physical traits. ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay hasn't heard Florida's Anthony Richardson connected to Detroit. If Stroud is gone, Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson Jr. and Texas Tech edge rusher Tyree Wilson would likely be the pick. But if they are also unavailable, Illinois cornerback Devon Witherspoon or Oregon cornerback Christian Gonzalez could be the Lions pick.
