2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell (shoulder) was recently placed on the 15-day injured list. The team didn't give a timetable for his return, but it sounds like the injury is fairly significant. Manager Craig Counsell said Mitchell's MRI showed significant damage to his labrum. The organization is going to get a second opinion, but this could cost Mitchell the rest of the 2023 season. A tough break for the 24-year-old outfielder who was beginning to get into a groove at the plate. In 16 games, Mitchell is slashing .259/.306/.466 with three homers, six RBI and a stolen base.
