Jaren Jackson Jr. Wins Defensive Player Of The Year
2 years agoMemphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. was named the 2022-23 NBA Defensive Player of the Year on Monday night. Jackson, who received 56 first-place votes, had an efficient year despite beginning it on the injured list. He averaged 18.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals, making this the best season of his career. The 23-year-old has improved since entering the league and hasn't slowed down. However, he has missed plenty of time because of injuries, which will continue negatively impacting his fantasy stock until he proves he can remain healthy.
