Spencer Steer Considered Day-To-Day

Cincinnati Reds third baseman Spencer Steer (knee) was removed during the ninth inning of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Manager David Bell said the MRI came back negative for structural damage on Steer's knee. That being said, the 25-year-old is considered day-to-day with right knee soreness. It doesn't sound like Steer is going to need a trip to the injured list. The expectation is that he'll likely be out of the starting lineup for a few days.
