Mikal Bridges Scores Game-High 30 Points In Playoff Opener
2 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard/forward Mikal Bridges led all scorers with a 30-point effort in Game 1 against Philadelphia. He heated up in a hurry with 11 first-quarter points, although Bridges' efforts weren't enough to keep the Sixers from dominating the contest. Bridges, who has now scored at least 30 points in five of his last 10 outings, shot 12-for-18 from the field with a 2-for-4 record from deep and pulled down five rebounds while recording one assist and one block in 34 minutes. The rest of the Nets starters combined for just 43 points in the 121-101 loss, so Bridges clearly needs better support to make this series competitive.
