Giants Likely To Address Receiver Position In First Round
2 years agoGiven the options and pre-draft work the New York Giants have done with the projected top wide receivers in this year's draft, the position remains the favorite for them in the first round at the end of this month. Explosiveness and speed are keys for head coach Brian Daboll's offense, but they don't necessarily need a traditional X receiver. Even after adding Parris Campbell and Jamison Crowder, re-signing Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard, and trading for tight end Darren Waller, their pass-catcher group remains somewhat shallow. USC's Jordan Addison and Boston College's Zay Flowers would be good fits. At No. 25 overall, cornerback could end up being the most likely target, though. Mississippi State's Emmanuel Forbes could be a nice target for the G-Men there.
