Alex Stalock Gets The Nod Versus Vancouver
2 years agoAlex Stalock will be the starting goaltender for the Chicago Blackhawks when they face off against the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday. Stalock's last start resulted in a fifth consecutive loss, during which he allowed five goals on 39 shots losing to New Jersey. Despite playing for one of the weakest teams in the NHL, the 35-year-old Stalock has posted a 9-13-1 record, 2.96 goals-against-average, and a .911 save percentage. The Canucks have lost four straight games and will be looking to turn their fortunes around against the Blackhawks.
