Kyle Manzardo Off To Slow Start
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays first base prospect Kyle Manzardo went 1-for-5 on Tuesday for Triple-A Durham, but has struggled to open the season with just three hits over his first 17 at-bats. Despite the slow start, it's a very small sample size and the on-base machine should be able to climb out of his slump sooner than later. Although he isn't the biggest power threat at the first base position, Manzardo has a strong ability to get on-base and hit for great contact to go along with good barrel rates. Managers in dynasty leagues should start to take notice of Manzardo and he would be an intriguing dart throw in redraft leagues, if given a call to the show in 2023.
