Deandre Hopkins Could Be Cut
2 years agoArizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins could be cut this offseason, according to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. The organization has been attempting to move Hopkins this offseason. However, there doesn't appear to be many organizations willing to meet the Cardinals asking price. It's also worth noting that Hopkins wants a new deal, which could be making this more difficult as well. The Cardinals could cut Hopkins as a post-June 1 designation, which would save $19.45 million against the cap. The 30-year-old finished with 64 receptions, 717 yards, and three touchdowns in nine games last season. Hopkins would be an immediate boost to contending teams, so expect him to have a big market if he's released.
