Brandon Nimmo Back In The Lineup Monday
2 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo is back in the starting lineup on Monday after he started on the bench against a southpaw on Sunday. Nimmo is starting in center field and is back in his usual leadoff spot on Monday against the Milwaukee Brewers and right-hander Freddy Peralta. The 30-year-old is off to a slow start in 2023, going 2-for-10 with a double, three RBI, a run scored and a stolen base, but he also has four walks and no strikeouts in the first four games. Nimmo should remain in most starting lineups in single-year leagues for his great on-base skills. With Nimmo back in there on Monday, Tommy Pham will head back to the bench.
