2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Michael Soroka has been optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday. This doesn't come as a surprise considering Soroka still needs to build up his stamina. The oft-injured pitcher recently made his spring debut, but he really had no shot at making the Opening Day roster. The expectation is that he'll likely need a month or two to build up his strength and stamina in the minors. The right-hander last pitched in 2020 when he made three starts for the Braves. The former All-Star has a ton of potential, but it's uncertain what he'll be able to contribute after missing multiple seasons. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect Soroka to be a fantasy contributor for the first month or so.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
