Carlos Santana Removed From Thursday's Game

Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Carlos Santana (undisclosed) was forced to exit early during Thursday's Grapefruit League game against the New York Yankees. The 36-year-old slipped on the infield grass while attempting to catch a pop up. He was in some pain afterwards, so the team decided to pull Santana out of the game. It sounds like this was precautionary, but the team will likely give another update on his status. Hopefully, it's only a day-to-day issue, but fantasy managers will need to check back for another update.
