Jacob deGrom Looks Sharp On Monday
2 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (side) posted a strong outing during his start in Double-A on Monday. The right-hander struck out five batters while allowing one-run over two innings of work. It's also worth noting that deGrom threw 20 of his 24 pitches for strikes in this outing. The next step is for deGrom to make his spring debut, barring any setbacks. The 34-year-old should be good for Opening Day, but fantasy managers shouldn't get ahead of themselves. There will likely be another update on deGrom within the next few days.
