2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Kolby Allard (oblique) won't be ready for Opening Day. The left-hander has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 right oblique strain on Thursday. That being said, Allard is going to begin the season on the injured list. There was a chance that Allard would make the Opening Day roster. Both Kyle Wright (shoulder) and Michael Soroka (hamstring) are dealing with injuries, so Allard had a chance at cracking the roster. Allard should join the MLB roster at some point this season, but isn't someone worth holding in fantasy leagues right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
