Elias Pettersson Crushes Flyers With Five Points
2 years agoVancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson had a sensational game against the Flyers on Saturday, putting up two goals and three assists in a 6-2 win. He became the first player since Alexander Mogilny in 1995 to finish a game with at least two short-handed points, two even-strength points and one power-play point. Pettersson completed his fifth career five-point effort with two empty-net goals, so there was a bit of luck involved, but it was still a huge performance from the Swedish forward. The Canucks star became the ninth player in the league to hit 70 points for the campaign and has registered 27 goals and 44 in total across 54 outings.
