Seth Jarvis Pots His First Hat Trick
2 years agoCarolina Hurricanes winger Seth Jarvis had a very memorable night Thursday against Montreal, scoring his first career hat trick in a 6-2 win. He completed the job with a short-handed goal inside the final minute of play, becoming the fourth youngest player in team history to register a hat trick. It was a spectacular way to end a scoring drought, as the 21-year-old had recorded only two points in his previous 11 appearances. Considering his status as a first-liner on the team, Jarvis really should be more consistent with his offensive output, but he's still young and learning and can only get better. Thursday's hat trick gives him 11 goals for the season and he's dished out 16 assists in 54 games.
