Rasmus Dahlin Records Two Assists Against Anaheim
2 years agoBuffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin finished Wednesday's big 7-3 triumph over the Ducks with two assists. Both of his helpers came in the first period when Tyson Jost and Tage Thompson put Buffalo two goals up. The Ducks battled back with three consecutive goals, but this Sabres team has an incredible scoring record and they still found a way to win the game comfortably. Buffalo averages 3.70 goals per game and Dahlin has been a big part of it from the blue line with 14 goals and 44 assists in 52 games. San Jose's Erik Karlsson (73) is the only rearguard in the league this season with more points than Dahlin (58), and it's only a matter of time before Dahlin becomes the first Sabres defenseman with a 60-point campaign since Phil Housley in 1989-90.
