2 years agoIf someone was looking for Ty Gibbs and his name on qualifying list, you were not going to find it. Gibbs was lightning fast in practice but then his car caught on fire literally. That resulted in enough damage to the Toyota to keep the Joe Gibbs Racing driver from qualifying. He will begin Sunday from the back of the pack. That means the 20-year-old will have to pass at least four other drivers to qualify for the main event. There is the last-chance qualifier but that means more laps for a car that is a bit combustible. Keeping the No. 54 car cool and performing is the biggest priority. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
