Ezekiel Elliott Can't Find Much Space In A Divisional Round Loss
2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott had an expanded role in a Divisional Round loss to the San Francisco 49ers due to an injury to Tony Pollard (ankle). With Pollard carted off the field, Elliott took over the backfield for most plays, but wasn't able to do much. He ran the ball 10 times for 26 yards and added two catches for seven more yards. His longest play was just a five yard gain. Elliott showed almost no explosiveness this season and was soundly outplayed almost every game by Pollard. Elliott will likely be back on the Cowboys next season, but won't be much of a fantasy asset.
