Miles Sanders Rushes For 90 Yards In Blowout Victory
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders took 17 carries for 90 yards during the team's 38-7 playoff victory over the New York Giants. The 25-year-old was given plenty of carries early and often in this one but had his touchdown opportunity taken by quarterback Jalen Hurts, who rushed it in himself. Boston Scott also got his obligatory touchdown against the Giants. Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott got the majority of carries in the second half, with the game pretty far out of reach, leaving Sanders with a mediocre fantasy performance. Most Eagles blowouts during the regular season followed a similar formula. The fourth-year back left fantasy managers wanting more in those games if he failed to find the end zone. Because of his guaranteed workload, Sanders will be a viable mid-tier option next week in DFS lineups no matter who he plays between Dallas and San Francisco, but know his upside is capped slightly due to Hurts' ability to find the end zone inside the 10-yard line.
