Travis Konecny Leads Flyers To Victory With A Hat Trick
2 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers right wing Travis Konecny took his career-best scoring streak to 10 games on Wednesday with a hat trick against Washington. He scored in all situations and led the team to a 5-3 victory. Konecny is the first player in the league this season to score an even-strength, power-play and short-handed goal in the same game. Mark Recchi in 2002 was the last player to do it for the Flyers. Konecny's current run is the longest active point streak in the league and he has posted a total of 20 points during it. He's currently in truly spectacular form, and with 24 goals and 22 assists registered in 36 games, Konecny is on his way to crushing all of his previous career-high numbers.
