Rashid Shaheed Logs 41 Scrimmage Yards In Loss
2 years agoNew Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Rashid Shaheed was targeted four times in Sunday's 10-7 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The Weber State product caught three passes for 34 yards, acting as the Saints' second option in the passing game behind Chris Olave. The speedster added a rush for seven yards in the matchup. The undrafted rookie emerged late in the season for New Orleans and had a productive last five games of the season, grabbing 20 receptions for 324 yards and a touchdown. Shaheed was a hidden gem find for the Saints, and he is sure to factor into their gameplan for 2023.
